General News (Tue Jan 31): said he did not need surgery on his injured shoulder and has been healthy for the last few weeks. Miller said he learned a lot of small details about the receiver position this season and plans to "turn it up to another level" in 2017.

The Texans are making a concerted effort to get Miller involved in the offense. Lining him up to take direct snaps and lining up in the slot. Only one reception for 12 yards and red zone carry for 1 yard. The Texans are trying everything to get him going with limited touches.

Braxton Miller has slowly been getting rolling with the offense and had his most productive game with the Texans. Working out of the slot, Miller showed he can be used as a weapon. His touchdown reception came out of the slot in a one on one matchup where he shook the defensive back to get open for a 12 yard touchdown reception. Miller also worked across the middle of the field and catch passed for 7 and 6 yards but he also had a drop on a hot read from Osweiler.
