Week 16: at Pittsburgh Steelers

Mark and Joe say: Tough matchup. This game has profound playoff implications for both teams - look for a hard-fought contest. Last week, the Chiefs inexplicably pulled Jamaal Charles in a goal line situation, essentially giving away the TD to Knile Davis (to the anguish of fantasy owners in the semi-finals everywhere, including the writer of this column - but I'm not bitter). Andy Reid lamely defended the move, saying that he felt Charles had to be evaluated by the training staff after taking a hard hit. Like that only happens once a game or so? Anyway, Charles ended the game with 12/52/0 rushing and 1/1/0 receiving while Davis compiled 9/11/1 rushing and 1/70/1 receiving on the day. The Steelers have run their record to 9-5 with two straight victories, holding Cincinnati to 21/86/1 rushing two weeks ago, and Atlanta to 20/97/0 rushing last weekend. To date the Steelers are 11th in the NFL averaging 103.6 rushing yards allowed per game, with nine rushing scores handed out to date. This is a tough matchup for Charles and Davis (especially if Andy Reid pulls him from the game at random again this week).
