Quick fantasy outlook: With the retirement of Ray Lewis and the free agent defection Dannell Ellerbe, Jameel McClain will have a shot at earning an every down role as the strong inside linebacker. The presence of first round pick Arthur Brown will be a factor as Brown will likely be on the field full time as the weak inside backer. The Ravens have often used a sub package replacement for the strong inside linebacker in recent years. Their depleted depth at the position could put an end to that practice. Fantasy owners need not get excited about McClain's prospects for 2013, but he may be worth a late round pick as a short term (1 year) sleeper with strong potential.
