Colts | Robert Mathis needs to slow down (Mon Aug 3, 10:43 AM) - Indianapolis Colts LB Robert Mathis (Achilles') needs to slow down in his rehabilitation process, according to Colts head coach Chuck Pagano. Mathis, 34, is recovering from a torn Achilles' tendon and will be brought along slowly.

Our View: Mathis will have a good bookend on the other side of the defense after the Eagles signed Trent Cole this offseason. He could have a deliberate return from his injury, which would put Jonathan Newsome on the field for more snaps to ease Mathis back into the mix.

Colts | Chuck Pagano believes in Robert Mathis (Thu Jul 23, 10:01 PM) - Indianapolis Colts LB Robert Mathis (Achilles') 'will make a huge impact' this season, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Our View: The Colts need all the help on defense they can get. Their offense is jam-packed with superstars, but their poor offensive line and poor defense is a serious concern. They're most certainly a Super Bowl contender, and getting great play from Mathis would definitely help.
