2014 Week 15 vs STL (4 / 10 / 30 / 0 / 0 pass, 0 / 0 / 0 rush)
The "next man up" mantra reached its comical conclusion last night with the likely season-ending Stanton injury giving way to the second iteration of the Ryan Lindley Era. Lindley, who has yet to throw a touchdown in his nearly 200 career attempts, remained poised despite the adverse circumstances, but still displayed the same struggles with reads and accuracy. In just 10 total pass attempts last night Lindley narrowly got away with 3 potential interceptions. None of this is provides much optimism for the rest of this season, be it next week's game against the defending champs, or in the playoff birth the Cardinals all but clinched last night. The Cardinals have impressively used Band-Aids for bullet wounds all season long, but it seems like last night the team ran out of Band-Aids.

Our View: This headline should send chills down the spines of Cardinals fans. They're having a great season, but all of these QB injuries are likely to shorten their year. Arians said the team will also have a package for QB Logan Thomas during the game.
link to story Cardinals | Ryan Lindley, Logan Thomas both options (Fri Dec 12, 08:43 PM) - Arizona Cardinals QB Logan Thomas and QB Ryan Lindley are both options to start in Week 16, but head coach Bruce Arians said Friday, Dec. 12, that he won't make a decision on a starter until Sunday, Dec. 14. Our View: Thomas has a strong arm but poor accuracy. Lindley has a strong arm but poor accuracy. Thomas is a better athlete and more dangerous as a runner. This could put him over the top in this battle. Lindley has a little more experience, so that could give him the edge. Either one is bad news for the Cardinals offense and the weapons in the passing game.
link to story Cardinals | Drew Stanton going for tests (Fri Dec 12, 12:11 PM) - Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton (knee) will undergo more tests when the team returns to Arizona, according to head coach Bruce Arians. 'We'll take it very slow with him and see how it goes once we get in the MRI and all that information,' Arians said.
