2014 Week 18 vs CAR (16 / 28 / 82 / 1 / 2 pass, 0 / 0 / 0 rush)

Despite the mid-week bluster and bravado from Head Coach Bruce Arians, it was clear from the start that the Coach didn't have confidence in his quarterback, and Lindley simply did not have what it takes to win playoff games on the road. Conservative play calling and a completely stagnant run game conspired together to make his job more difficult, but in the end it was Lindley who continually failed to make the necessary plays in front of him. Some of these mistakes were surmountable; Lindley was able to find Darren Fells in the back of the end-zone just two plays after badly missing a wide-open Larry Fitzgerald, but others were not. Lindley's two interceptions both came in the Panther's red zone at times in which the final outcome was still in doubt.
