Quick fantasy outlook: Felix Jones was a late addition in free agency, and it's not clear what his role will be with the team. Theoretically, Jones could push Bryce Brown for the RB2 role behind LeSean McCoy, but that seems unlikely after Jones' flameout in Dallas and Brown's strong rookie season. More likely, Jones was brought in to provide veteran depth and push Chris Polk for the RB3 role and possible also see snaps on special teams. Jones was once considered the heir apparent in Dallas after Jerry Jones drafted the former Arkansas Razorback in the first round of the 2008 draft. A lack of durability led to Jones wearing out his welcome in Dallas, and now he's fighting for a roster spot trying to rediscover the game-breaking speed and power that made scouts drool five years ago. With a career 4.8 yards per carry average and an 8.3 yards per reception average, Jones is not without ability, but he must find comfort in a backup role and, above all else, stay on the practice field and not the trainer's room.
