Quick fantasy outlook: After a relatively slow start to his NFL career, Derrick Johnson has quietly developed into one of the best middle linebackers in the NFL. Johnson has topped 100 solo tackles each of the past two seasons. The kicker is that at 31, Johnson could actually be better in 2013. Dontari Poe's development at nose tackle and the addition of Nico Johnson could take some of the attention off Johnson and allow him more space to do what he does best, fly to the football. While the big plays were missing in 2012, Johnson did have 30 passes defensed, six interceptions and three touchdowns from 2009-2011, so the big play potential is there.
