Bears | Thursday practice report for Chicago (Thu Sep 22, 11:08 PM) - Chicago Bears S Adrian Amos (concussion), CB Bryce Callahan (concussion), RB Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring), DT Eddie Goldman (ankle), LB Lamarr Houston (knee) and LB Danny Trevathan (thumb) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 22. CB Kyle Fuller (knee), OT Bobby Massie (toe), CB Tracy Porter (knee), FS Chris Prosinski (calf), OG Josh Sitton (shoulder), DT Will Sutton (elbow) and LB Willie Young (knee) were limited participants, and CB Sherrick McManis (wrist) was a full participant.

Our View: Carey is unlikely to play Sunday night, leaving rookie Jordan Howard as the #2 back behind Jeremy Langford. If Howard can look better than Langford for the second straight week, he could push Langford for the starting job.

Bears | Lamarr Houston has torn ACL (Tue Sep 20, 04:22 PM) - Chicago Bears DL Lamarr Houston (knee) underwent an MRI exam that confirmed he has a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to sources.

Our View: More bad news for the Bears here. Houston is a fine pass-rusher when healthy, but now he's torn both his left and right ACLs in only a couple of years. Entering his age 30 season in 2017, Houston may not be back with the Bears -- especially with his $6.9 million cap number.
