2019 Week 10 vs MIA (3 / 14 / 0 rush, 7 / 4 / 30 / 0 rec - 6.4 points, $4600)
Nyheim Hines saw greater involvement with Brian Hoyer at quarterback. Hines made a catch in the flat and accelerated down the sideline for 12 yards. Hines beat his man downfield running a wheel route for a potential big play but Hoyer overthrew Hines. Hines picked up 10 yards on a catch in the flat showing impressive acceleration. Hines was targeted twice inside the 10 yard line. The first fell incomplete with what appeared to be contact by the defender and Hines was brought down at the 1 yard line on the second.
2019 Week 8 vs DEN (4 / 12 / 0 rush, 3 / 3 / 34 / 0 rec - 6.1 points, $4600)
Hines made catches of 9 and 20 yards with the Colts running their two minute offense. Hines was left uncovered after helping in pass protection on the 20 yard gain. Hines catches helped set up a field goal attempt before halftime.
2019 Week 5 vs KC (2 / -1 / 0 rush, 5 / 4 / 46 / 0 rec - 6.5 points, $4800)
Nyheim Hines did his damage as an underneath receiver in obvious passing situations. Hines made his first catch over the middle and split a pair of defenders for 13 yards. Hines spun out of tackle after making a catch in the flat and showed off his burst picking up 18 yards down the sideline. Hines had a 14 yard carry negated by penalty. Hines had a 17 yard reception on a really well designed pass to the flat that put several blockers in front of Hines. Hines made a 7 yard catch on a dump off underneath.
2019 Week 4 vs OAK (3 / 6 / 0 rush, 6 / 6 / 39 / 0 rec - 7.5 points, $4800)
Nyheim Hines saw good number of targets with the Colts trailing and struggling to make plays downfield. With the Colts trailing by two scores for much of the game they went pass heavy and favored using Hines over Marlon Mack. Hines made 3 catches in short order for 27 yards all on check downs from Brissett. Hines picked up 10 yards running a quick out route from the slot. Hines had an 11 yard reception negated by an illeligble player downfield penalty.
