Recent Game Summaries

2019 Week 1 vs TEN (3 / 2 / 46 / 0 rec - 6.6 points, $3200)

Higgins had a big role on the game-opening touchdown drive and then wasn't heard from again. The receiver pulled in an 11-yard reception on the second play of the game and then caught a 35-yard pass from Baker Mayfield that brought the Browns down to the Tennessee four-yard line. After the first drive, Mayfield only looked his way once more in what wound up being an incomplete pass. He missed time with an ankle injury.

Latest News

Browns | Rashard Higgins may be healthy scratch (Sat Oct 12, 06:03 PM) - Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) is healthy enough to play in Week 6, but head coach Freddie Kitchens said he is not sure if Higgins will be active for the game.

Our View: This is an...interesting...proclamation from the head coach. Higgins is good to go from a health standpoint but he may not play. Have other options ready. If he does play, Higgins will compete with Antonio Callaway for outside duties opposite of Odell Beckham Jr with Jarvis Landry in the slot.

Browns | Rashard Higgins not on injury report (Fri Oct 11, 05:48 PM) - Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Our View: Higgins is ready to play, but there are some indications that he might be a healthy scratch. He and Baker Mayfield have excellent chemistry so the team lacking confidence in him is odd.

Browns | Cleveland's Thursday practice report (Thu Oct 10, 03:57 PM) - Cleveland Browns OT Kendall Lamm (knee), CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) and CB Greedy Williams (hamstring) were limited in practice for a second straight day Thursday, Oct. 10. WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hip) and WR Rashard Higgins (knee) fully participated in practice for a second straight day.

Our View: Higgins is finally on track to return and he is Baker Mayfield's favorite receiver, so this could finally give Mayfield a good outlook against a Seahawks pass defense that has had some rough performances this year.

Browns | Rashard Higgins a full participant Wednesday (Wed Oct 9, 03:21 PM) - Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) practiced in full Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Our View: Higgins didn't play on Monday night against the 49ers, and he hasn't seen the field since Week 1. Perhaps they'll get him back on the field this week against the Seahawks.
