Higgins won't provide fantasy players top-15 upside at his position if the Browns call upon him to start, but he has low-end fantasy WR2/high-end fantasy WR3 potential because of his route running, attack of the football, and his rapport with Baker Mayfield. Considering his draft-day value, Higgins' ceiling qualifies him as a high-upside option. Thus far, Higgins has earned the No.3 role ahead of Antonio Calloway but may split time with Derrick Willies

Summary

Higgins is the final remaining receiver from a 2016 draft class that saw Cleveland select four wideouts. Higgins' staying power is especially impressive considering he outlasted a first-round pick that season who played the same position (Corey Coleman). Higgins has never been a star but is the solid contributor that coaches covet. He has shown flashes at times that suggest he could be part of a productive offense, and his chemistry with Baker Mayfield continues to develop during the preseason. With Antonio Callaway suspended four games, Higgins' role could continue to grow. (August 9)

Browns | Rashard Higgins in line to be WR3 (Thu Aug 15, 02:23 PM) - Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins is the leading candidate to be the team's third wide receiver during WR Antonio Callaway's suspension, according to Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com.

Our View: Higgins has great chemistry with Baker Mayfield and he'll get favorable matchups while defense are worried more about Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. He's worth a late round flier in deep leagues.
