Quick fantasy outlook: Some may consider Chad Henne a backup NFL quarterback at best, but with his role for the Jaguars, he has the opportunity to be much more. The quarterback play in Jacksonville has been less than thrilling the past few seasons, and when it did show glimpses of success it was at the end of 2012 when Henne took over the starting quarterback reins. In the final 7 games of the season, Henne put up 1869 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. Those numbers may not seem so big in other offenses but for an offense that saw Gabbert average only 166 yards a game to start the season they are huge. The fact that Henne averaged 100+ more passing yards a game then Gabbert, is a strong indication that he has to be given a legitimate chance to win the starting quarterback job this preseason.
