From the upgrade/downgrade report (Mon Oct 20): Harbor continues to scratch out solid weeks in a choppy Jacksonville passing game. He's not quite the bottom of the barrel if you are looking for Week 8 streaming options.

Week 8: vs Miami Dolphins

Mark and Joe say: Bad matchup. Blake Bortles continues to struggle with turnovers - he's had at least two interceptions thrown in four out of five starts, and tossed three last week (17/31 for 159 yards passing, one TD and two sacks taken for -8 yards). He did find Allen Robinson for a TD last week (seven targets for 4/60/1) and also relied on Clay Harbor (six for 6/34/0). Cecil Shorts III actually saw the most targets, with nine, but only converted 3/12/0 receiving. The Jacksonville passing attack is still very much a construction zone entering Week 8. The Dolphins' pass D ranks fourth in the NFL averaging 213.3 net yards allowed per game, with 11 pass TDs given up balanced by four interceptions (tied for 18th in the NFL) and 17 sacks (tied-12th). Jacksonville is worst in the league with 29 sacks given away - Bortles will have pressure in his face all day long while facing the Dolphins. Jay Cutler and company could only manage 21/34 for 172 net yards, one TD and one interception thrown vs. Miami last week (Cutler was sacked three times for -18 yards). This looks like a bad week to rely on the Jaguars' passing game. Look elsewhere for your starters.

Recent Game Summaries

2014 Week 5 vs PIT (4 / 3 / 22 / 0 rec)

With Marcedes Lewis' absence continuing, Harbor was able to get his first reception early in the game. He caught a deep crossing route after play action near the sideline. Harbor wasn't featured much in the offense. His next reception came at the start of the third quarter, when Bortles checked the ball down to him on Third-and-11. Late in the third quarter, the Steelers forgot to cover Harbor at the snap and gave him a free five yards by the sideline.

2014 Week 6 vs TEN (4 / 3 / 91 / 1 rec)

Harbor opened the game with a huge reception on a deep crossing route. Bortles held the ball in the pocket and stood strong against the pass rush before delivering an accurate pass down the sideline. Harbor had created separation against man coverage, before he turned upfield to run to the goal line. Much like Marcedes Lewis typically does for the Jaguars as their starting tight end, Harbor disappeared for a long time after his early reception. His next catch was a short curl route midway through the third quarter. Harbor started the game with a big play and finished it with one, as he caught a touchdown pass over the middle of the field with less than one minute to go.

2014 Week 7 vs CLE (6 / 6 / 34 / 0 rec)

As usual, Harbor's first reception came early on in the game. This time he kept working in his route after Bortles extended the play into the flat. Harbor caught a short pass down the sideline. In the second quarter, Harbor caught a screen pass that the Browns quickly snuffed out behind the line of scrimmage. Bortles went straight back to his tight end on the following play, but they could only connect on a two yard gain. Harbor was being targeted, but always on short routes that were quickly closed in on. He eventually found a big play late in the second quarter when Bortles checked the ball down to him in wide open space underneath.
