Quick fantasy outlook: Both the Steelers and fantasy owners know exactly what they have in Larry Foote. He is a dependable veteran player who fits well into the Pittsburgh zone blitz scheme. Foote is not the most physically gifted of players but is fundamentally sound. The strength of his game is that Foote plays virtually mistake free football. This allows defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau the freedom to gamble with his other inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons and take advantage of Timmons physical skills. As a result of this situation Foote is a player with limited upside. He is not however, without value to fantasy owners. Foote finished 2012 at 74-38-4 with a forced fumble, a pair of recoveries and a couple of passes defended. He should have similar production in 2013 making Foote worthy as depth in most 12 team leagues that start 3 linebackers.
