Week 13: at Jacksonville Jaguars
All RB vs JAX
Mark and Joe say: Good matchup. Devontae Booker handled the bulk of the work for the Broncos in this phase of the game last Sunday night, getting fed 24/79/0 rushing and two targets for 1/22/0 receiving to go over 100 yards combined on the night. Kapri Bibbs did get some chances, with 9/22/0 rushing, but he took some hard shots that sidelined him for some sections of the game (he was checked for a concussion in the first quarter but cleared to return to the game). It looks like Booker will continue to be the featured back despite rumblings prior to last week's game from the coaching staff about involving Bibbs more in the attack.
The Jaguars' rush defense was shattered by Buffalo for 29/153/3 rushing last week; they limited Detroit to 21/14/1 rushing two games ago, but were blown up for 33/181/0 by Houston three games back. From Week Nine to Week 12 of regular season (the last four weeks, but includes 14 teams on byes during that time span - each team has at least three games played in the last four weeks), Jacksonville averages 15.7 fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs per game (14th-least in the NFL). To date, Jacksonville is 24th in the NFL averaging 116.6 rushing yards allowed per game, with a hefty 13 rushing scores surrendered over 11 games.
This looks like a good matchup for Booker (and Bibbs).
