Quick fantasy outlook: The projected starting UT for the Panthers produced six sacks last season - a decent number for a DT - and was a consistent presence on the inside when the Panthers needed one. However, he is not the most talented and is not a spring chicken. With the team addressing the UT position with Kawann Short, Edwards will likely rotate and thus his value takes a hit. If Short struggles to catch on, Edwards' veteran skill may get the nod and he could be a decent bye week option.
