From Mark Wimer's Monday injury report (Mon Jan 25): Davis suffered a broken right forearm during the game on Sunday - he's undergoing surgery on Monday with an eye to attempting to play in the Super Bowl. Davis will be evaluated further and receive treatment from the team's trainers as the bye week goes along (he'll likely have to wear a cast if he is able to play in the Super Bowl). This is a developing story as of Monday afternoon, January 25.

General News (Fri Feb 5): will start Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, Feb. 7, according to head coach Ron Rivera, after suffering a broken forearm in the NFC Championship Game. "Yes, yes I do (expect Davis to start) based on everything I'm seeing from him right now and what the doctors have talked about -- they talk about him every day and we go over everything he's done and what they're seeing. That's been a huge plus." Rivera said. "He actually took a shot in the arm yesterday and said 'I'm fine. That felt pretty good.'"

Davis said he could be limited in the game, but he has every intention of playing in the game. He returned to practice and used a cast Monday, Feb. 1.
