Crockett, the Raiders' fullback, gained ten yards and a first down on his only carry of the game.
2006 Week 7 vs ARI (8 / 44 / 0 rush, 3 / 3 / 20 / 0 rec)
Without Jordan in the lineup, Crockett's numbers received a little boost. He carried the ball eight times for 44 yards, and also caught all three passes thrown to him for 20 yards.
2006 Week 8 vs PIT (3 / 7 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 3 / 0 rec)
Crockett got a rare start at RB and gained seven yards on his first carry. He would gain zero yards on his next two carries and catch one pass for three yards in limited action after the opening drive.
2006 Week 9 vs SEA (1 / 4 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Crockett caught his only target for a six yard gain and carried once for four yards.
2006 Week 10 vs DEN (7 / 40 / 0 rush, 3 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Crockett was used in a committee ground game effort in Week 10. He took a few inside handoffs in the first half, picking up 17 and 11 yards on two of those misdirection types of run plays. He had five carries for 37 yards in the first half as a result, but was only able to gain three more yards on two touches in the second half. Crockett had three first half targets, but only one was catchable. He converted it for a short four yard gain.
2006 Week 11 vs KC (5 / 19 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett was effective as a blocking fullback and as a punishing change of pace fullback.
2006 Week 12 vs SD (7 / 22 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett received half the number of carries that Justin Fargas got, despite being considerably more effective with the ball in his hands. That's not to say Crockett lit up the stat sheet (3.1 ypc), but at least he was able to move the pile a bit when he got the carries. Crockett came up just short of a touchdown on a first quarter run from the three yard line. On first down, Crockett was stuffed after a two yard gain. ReShard Lee got the carry on the next play and scored from a yard out.
2006 Week 13 vs HOU (2 / 5 / 0 rush, 3 / 2 / 19 / 0 rec)
Crockett ran the ball twice for three yards. He caught two passes for 19 yards, including a 14 yard gain.
2006 Week 14 vs CIN (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 2 / 1 / 1 / 0 rec)
The 240 pound fullback had no carries, but caught one pass.
2006 Week 16 vs KC (1 / 5 / 0 rush, 2 / 1 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett's only carry of the game was a five yard run up the middle for a first down on the first play of the second quarter.
2006 Week 17 vs NYJ (2 / 6 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett had a couple of short yardage rushes and was also targeted once in the passing game.
2005 Week 1 vs NE (3 / 20 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett came in late during the third quarter in relief of Lamont Jordan who was suffering from cramps. He had a seven yard rush brought back with a holding penalty on center Jake Grove. Many folks were worried Crockett would steal goal line carries from Jordan but this was not the case Thursday night.
2005 Week 2 vs KC (1 / 2 / 0 rush, 3 / 3 / 24 / 0 rec)
Crockett looked impressive when catching the ball and running with it. A significant point was that Crockett did not steal goal line touches from Jordan.
2005 Week 3 vs PHI (3 / 9 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett ran the ball three times in the first half for just nine yards in all. He was brought in as a change of pace back to compliment Jordan, but he also could not get the running game going against the tough Eagles' run defense.
2005 Week 4 vs DAL (1 / 2 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett was a non factor, as most of his contributions came blocking for Lamont Jordan.
2005 Week 7 vs BUF (7 / 33 / 1 rush, 1 / 1 / 23 / 0 rec)
Crockett was targeted once, gaining 23 yards and a first down to keep alive the Raiders' penultimate scoring drive. He was used on the final drive, converting two first downs before scoring on a two yard run with 18 seconds left in the game.
2005 Week 8 vs TEN (1 / 2 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett had only one carry for two yards in this game.
2005 Week 9 vs KC (5 / 3 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett saw a limited number of carries in the game and rushed five times for three yards. Four of his carries were in the first half.
2005 Week 11 vs WAS (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 3 / 2 / 18 / 0 rec)
Crockett came into the game late to give Lamont Jordan a breather. He caught a couple of passes and fumbled after a big hit by Ryan Clark after his second catch. The ball took a fortuitous bounce, though, and Crockett was able to recover it.
2005 Week 12 vs MIA (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 3 / 0 rec)
Crockett turned his only target into a catch for three yards.
2005 Week 13 vs SD (1 / 24 / 0 rush, 3 / 2 / 13 / 0 rec)
Crockett only had one rush in the game, but he made the most of it by gaining 24 yards on the plays. He was targeted three times and caught two of the passes for 13 yards, but was not much of a factor in the rest of the game.
2005 Week 15 vs CLE (4 / 10 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Crockett failed to catch a pass, but spelled Jordan on occasion, and provided a different look from the rushing attack.
2005 Week 16 vs DEN (15 / 61 / 0 rush, 2 / 2 / 17 / 0 rec)
Crockett started in place of the injured RB Lamont Jordan, and he started the game well. The Raiders ran the ball successfully on the opening drive, calling six consecutive run plays for Crockett to start the game. He produced 31 yards and two first downs, but then the Raiders abandoned the run. After they started to trail, the commitment to excellence did not include a commitment to the run. Oakland threw on 27 of the next 31 plays, reducing Crockett's contributions. He later contributed 24 yards in the fourth quarter on the ground plus a ten yard catch, but long after the contest had been decided.
2005 Week 17 vs NYG (15 / 27 / 0 rush, 2 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
In his second start for the Raiders for the injured Lamont Jordan, Zack Crockett was completely ineffective. His longest run from scrimmage was just seven yards, and he finished the day with just 27 yards on 15 carries. Late in the fourth quarter, with the Raiders in need of a score, Crockett had three shots to get the ball into the end zone from the one yard line. He failed and the Raiders lost the game.
