2008 Week 13 vs TEN (2 / 1 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Cason, was a non factor in this game other then returning multiple kickoffs after Tennessee scores.
2008 Week 15 vs IND (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
The veteran returned two punts for 14 yards and five kickoffs for a 27.4 average.
2008 Week 16 vs NO (1 / 2 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Cason had one rushing attempt. He also returned three kickoffs.
2007 Week 5 vs WAS (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 2 / 2 / 5 / 0 rec)
Cason had two catches for five yards, but fumbled on his first touch and was not a factor in the game.
2007 Week 9 vs DEN (2 / 8 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Cason had two rushing attempts in the fourth quarter.
2007 Week 10 vs ARI (1 / 1 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Cason rushed once and caught the only ball thrown his way.
2007 Week 12 vs GB (1 / 3 / 0 rush, 5 / 4 / 58 / 0 rec)
Cason did a very good job working mostly as a receiver out of the backfield. There wasn't really a rhyme or reason to when he came in, but he performed well when called upon. He did most of his damage on circle passes where he ran around the line of scrimmage and caught passes from Jon Kitna in stride down the seam. It was said during the telecast that Detroit offensive coordinator has said that while the Lions don't have a Marshall Faulk-type of player on the team, Cason is the closest thing they DO have to Faulk. Cason was shaken up during a second quarter kick return, but he soon returned looking no worse for wear.
2007 Week 14 vs DAL (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 4 / 0 rec)
Cason caught the only pass thrown his way as his contribution was limited to spot duty in relief of Kevin Jones and T.J. Duckett.
2007 Week 15 vs SD (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 3 / 3 / 29 / 0 rec)
Cason was a factor in the passing game out of the backfield, and has kind of carved himself a small but legitimate role in the passing game. While Kevin Jones had 61 catches in twelve games a year ago, he's got just 31 catches through eleven games so far this year. And a lot of those receptions seem to have been lost to Cason, who now has twelve catches on the year (nine in the last four weeks).
2007 Week 16 vs KC (4 / 10 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 7 / 0 rec)
Cason made brief appearances as a relief rusher in addition to returning kickoffs. He seems to be an all around good player who does not have much fantasy value.
2007 Week 17 vs GB (3 / 16 / 0 rush, 2 / 1 / 11 / 0 rec)
Cason's first rush of the game went for a gain of 12, but his next two runs went for a total of four yards. In addition to periodically spelling T.J. Duckett at running back, he also averaged 25 yards on six kickoff returns.
2006 Week 11 vs ARI (4 / 20 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
When Kevin Jones initially went out, Cason came into the game on first and second downs and gave way to Arlen Harris on third downs and other passing situations. Once the Lions were clearly behind, Cason saw very little action in this game, whereby it wasn't clear whether this was a decision made with regards to game situation, his ineffectiveness on two carries in the first half, or a coaching decision to proceed with Arlen Harris.
2006 Week 12 vs MIA (2 / 6 / 0 rush, 4 / 3 / 8 / 0 rec)
Cason had five touches for a combined 14 yards sharing the backfield with Arlen Harris.
2006 Week 15 vs GB (3 / 6 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Cason only picked up six yards on three carries while serving as the back up to Arlen Harris.
2006 Week 16 vs CHI (5 / 31 / 0 rush, 2 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Cason saw limited duty as a running back with only five carries. He did not catch either of the two passes targeted for him.
2006 Week 17 vs DAL (10 / 31 / 0 rush, 3 / 2 / 18 / 0 rec)
Cason started the game at tailback, but shared carries evenly with Arlen Harris. Cason rushed ten times for 31 yards. His long run was a nine yard gain. Cason had receptions of 14 and four yards.
2005 Week 17 vs DAL (10 / 65 / 1 rush, 1 / 1 / 11 / 0 rec)
Cason had a steady performance with a long run of 14 yards and the first of the Rams two rushing touchdowns on a nice eight yard run. He was also able to garner 11 yards on his lone reception.
