Quick fantasy outlook: Andre Brown deserves credit for fighting through adversity. Drafted by the Giants in 2009, an injury led to his never playing a down for New York. Brown then had minor stints on four different teams in 2010 (Carolina, Denver, Indianapolis and Washington) but couldn't gain a foothold. Finally healthy in 2011, the Giants added him to their practice squad. In 2012, the 6'0", 224 lbs. bruiser got an opportunity for a significant role as the complement to Ahmad Bradshaw, and flourished. Brown isn't as explosive or well-rounded as Wilson but he's a powerful runner who doesn't shy from contact. In 10 games, Brown scored 8 rushing touchdowns and gained 471 yards from scrimmage before yet another injury setback. Brown broke his leg and missed the final six games. With Bradshaw gone, the Giants opted to re-sign Brown to a one-year deal, a testament to his value and work ethic, and he will now be part of a committee with 2nd year David Wilson.
