Week 13: vs San Francisco 49ers
All RB vs SF
Mark and Joe say: Great matchup. Jordan Howard went over 100 yards combined as the featured back for Chicago last weekend, posting 18/84/0 rushing with five targets for 3/43/0 receiving to his credit. KaDeem Carey (1/6/0 rushing and one target for 1/12/0 receiving) and Jeremy Langford (1/5/0 rushing with two targets for zero receptions) were mere afterthoughts last weekend - it appears that Howard is going to be fed the football as long as he stays productive with his chances.
The 49ers make almost every running back they face this season look awesome, with a season average of 171.8 yards rushing allowed per game (32nd in the NFL) with 14 rushing scores given out (third-most in the NFL so far). From Week Nine to Week 12 of regular season (the last four weeks, but includes 14 teams on byes during that time span - each team has at least three games played in the last four weeks), San Francisco averages 28.3 fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs per game (most in the NFL). Miami was limited to 26/95/1 rushing last weekend, but they are missing their starting center and both starting offensive tackles right now.
This is a great matchup for Howard and the Bears.
