Recent Game Summaries
2016 Week 13 vs JAX (5 / 49 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Bibbs broke a long run of 24 yards in the 2nd quarter on his first carry of the game. The Broncos lined up in a 3WR set with Bibbs as the lone back and he took the ball off right tackle, where a huge running lane opened up to pave the way for the big gain. A couple of plays later in the drive, Bibbs took a toss to the left side up the sideline for a gain of 15. Bibbs had racked up 49 rushes on just 5 carries before injuring his ankle and leaving the game. The injury is said to be a high ankle sprain, with Bibbs' availability for next week in question.
2016 Week 12 vs KC (9 / 22 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Bibbs spelled Devontae Booker occasionally, totaling 22 yards on 9 carries. He took a big shot on a 1st quarter carry and had to leave the game briefly, returned soon and did not seem adversely affected in any way. Bibbs also returned kickoffs.
2016 Week 10 vs NO (7 / 22 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Bibbs was the only other halfback active alongside Booker, but he did not see the increase in usage that some speculated he might in week 10. Bibbs entered the game in the 1st quarter and spelled Booker occasionally throughout the contest, collecting 22 yards on 7 carries. His longest carry was a pitch play off left tackle for 9 yards late in the 2nd quarter. Bibbs was overthrown on his only target of the day.
2016 Week 9 vs OAK (2 / 11 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 69 / 1 rec)
Bibbs saw a small workload in relief of Devontae Booker, and also returned kickoffs. He recorded the Broncos longest run of the day(10 yards) on a pitch play in the 2nd quarter. Bibbs made the most of his lone target in the passing game, taking a halfback screen 69 yards for a touchdown late in the 4th quarter. Bibbs did an excellent job of patiently following his blockers, and then showed great vision as he weaved in and out of traffic downfield. The Denver offense did a solid job of following him downfield and providing some nice downfield blocks to help spring him free.
2016 Week 8 vs SD (2 / 4 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Bibbs saw limited action as Devontae Booker's backup. He fumbled a pitch during his first snap of the 1st quarter and recovered the ball, but did not see many touches afterward. A 5 yard run in the 3rd quarter was his biggest contribution to the offense.
2016 Week 4 vs TB (3 / 14 / 0 rush, 0 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Bibbs entered the running back rotation in the 4th quarter, carrying the rock 3 times for 14 yards in limited action.
2016 Week 2 vs IND (1 / 7 / 0 rush, 1 / 0 / 0 / 0 rec)
Bibbs saw his first action late in the 2nd quarter as the Broncos tried to score on a 2 minute drill. He got the carry on 3rd and 1 and picked up the 1st down and more with a strong 7 yard run. He was targeted on a pass out of the backfield on the next play, but the pass was broken up by a Colts defender.
2016 Week 1 vs CAR (0 / 0 / 0 rush, 1 / 1 / 6 / 0 rec)
Bibbs saw his first action of the night in the 3rd quarter, lining up at tailback and catching a swing pass out of the backfield for a gain of 6. It was his only target or carry of the night.
