Bears | Chicago signing Mario Alford (Tue Sep 12, 02:21 PM) - Free-agent WR Mario Alford (Browns) will be signed to the Chicago Bears' practice squad Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Our View: A seventh-round pick (2015, Bengals) out of West Virginia, Alford has bounced around the league during his short time in the pros. At 5'8" 180 pounds, Alford is a speedy receiver who can also contribute on special teams. The Bears are thin at wide receiver, but Alford is only on the practice squad at this point.
