Week 14: at Indianapolis Colts

All WR vs IND

Mark and Joe say: Good matchup. Brock Osweiler outdueled Andrew Luck back in Week Six, with 25/39 for 269 yards passing, two TDs and one interception thrown (and one sack taken for -13 yards), leading the Texans to a 26-23 victory in the AFC South. C.J. Fiedorowicz (seven targets for 6/85/1 receiving) and Lamar Miller (four for 3/29/1) handled the TDs for Osweiler in the first matchup with the Colts. Right now, the Texans, the Titans and the Colts are tied for the lead in the AFC South at 6-6 - this is an key game for almost everyone in the division (except the Jaguars). Osweiler had a decent game at Green Bay (22/35 for 202 yards passing, two TDs and zero interceptions thrown with two sacks taken for -18 yards, and three rushes for 20 yards). DeAndre Hopkins caught his first TD in the past seven games with eight targets for 3/58/1 receiving, to run his season total to 113 targets for 58/668/4 receiving (a disappointing 33rd in the NFL among all wide receivers through 12 games). Will Fuller V led the team in receiving with six for 5/59/0; C.J. Fiedorowicz (nine for 6/44/0) and Ryan Griffin (six for 4/35/1) were also in the mix for Osweiler. The Colts' pass defense is 28th in the NFL averaging 273.3 yards passing allowed per game, with 23 passing scores given out vs. just six interceptions (tie for 26th in the NFL) and 23 sacks (tied for 22nd) generated. Last week, a tanking Jets' club had 16/37 for 214 net yards, one TD and three interceptions thrown vs. Indianapolis (one sack taken for -2 yards), while two weeks ago the Colts' pass defense allowed 14/21 for 221 yards passing, three TDs and zero interceptions to Ben Roethlisberger. From Week 10 to Week 13 of the 2016 season (over the last four weeks, but includes 10 teams on bye during that time span - each team has at least three games played in the last four weeks), Indianapolis has averaged 20.2 fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks (16th in the NFL); and 26.4 fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers (11th-most in the league); with 4.8 fantasy points given up per game to tight ends (ninth-least). This is a good matchup for the Texans even though they are on the road.
