Summary

Most people were surprised the Broncos kept Jeff Heuerman around for this season. An unrestricted free agent, Heuerman garnered little interest on the open market and the Broncos ended up keeping him around with a two-year, $9 million deal. He's never played a full season in four years as a pro, but Heuerman is coming off a career-high 31 catches in 2018. He was at the top of the depth chart before the 2019 NFL draft, then the Broncos added Noah Fant with their first-round pick. Now, we should see Heuerman operate as the team's primary blocker at the position. Fant should be the team's leading receiver at the tight end position and the player Fantasy GMs should covet more.
