Summary

Josh Gordon is back. Again. The talented but star-crossed receiver was granted eligibility and it appears he'll step back into a starting role for the Patriots. Gordon played 11 games for the Patriots last year, but was a part-time decoy in his first two contests. In the nine games as a full-time player, Gordon was WR32 on a per-game basis. With another year in the system, assuming he's in game shape, Gordon becomes one of the ultimate boom-or-bust options. You can make the case for Gordon to deliver Top 20 numbers if he plays 12+ games, but you can just as easily argue for another disappointing bust year considering how his career arc has turned out. It'll be vital to see how quickly Gordon integrates into the offense. (September 2)
