It's somewhat telling that after playing well in 2018, Dorsett only got a one-year contract from New England. He had some nice games last year, but was not a factor during the Super Bowl, and his overall production was lackluster, even if he looked good doing it. Dorsett appears to be just another guy in this offense and so it's hard to see him suddenly gain an increase in targets. In 2018, Dorsett only had 42 targets, and was behind not only Julian Edelman, but Josh Gordon and Chris Hogan, as well as James White and Rob Gronkowski. The upside is that his lack of long-term contract could fire him up and perhaps push him to improve his overall game, though in the end if he doesn't get the targets he can't get the yards. With the addition of N'Keal Harry, Dorsett's future production looks a little bleak. (May 29)
