Summary

Kirk Cousins has been a top 10 fantasy quarterback in each of the last four seasons as he has finished 9th, 5th, 5th, and 9th. He is coming off a season where he threw for 30 touchdowns which is the most in his career to date and is surrounded by a talented core of players in Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, and Kyle Rudolph. Now entering his second season in the Vikings offense and his three-year, $84 million contract, Cousins has a lot to still prove especially coming off a year where hopes were high for the Vikings but they bowed out of the playoffs in Week 17. Cousins has thrown over 4093 yards and at least 25 touchdowns in each of his last four seasons. He also has a total of 14 rushing touchdowns over that stretch but only one of those was scored in 2018. (May 3)

Vikings | Minnesota sees 2019 season end (Sat Jan 11, 07:31 PM) - Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins went 21-for-29 for 172 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round playoff game. RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 18 yards on nine carries and caught six passes for eight yards during the game. WR Stefon Diggs caught two passes for 57 yards and one touchdown on five targets. WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 50 yards on seven targets. TE Irv Smith caught three passes for 39 yards on three targets, while TE Kyle Rudolph caught two passes for four yards on three targets.

Our View: It was a good run for the Vikings this season. They failed to make the palyoffs last year but made it to the Divisional Round this year. Next season, in the final season of Kirk Cousins contract, the Vikings are hoping to make the NFC Championship at least. We'll see if they can make that happen. This offseason, the secondary is a part of the team they'll need to improve to make that run.
