Summary

Brown's 2017 in Arizona was a complete mess. He played in only 10 games and caught a scant 21 passes, failing to eclipse 300 yards. His signing of one-year, $5 million deal is a disappointment to him and also to Baltimore, given that the team had missed out on Donte Moncrief and Jarvis Landry before signing Brown. However, with his biggest asset being his vertical speed, Brown has a chance to make an impact as that strength aligns well with one of Flacco's only strengths - his deep ball accuracy. If he can stay healthy, a bounce-back year should be inevitable - especially given how poor his 2017 was. (August 4)

Buccaneers | Several free agents the Bucs could consider (Sat Feb 9, 08:12 PM) - Houston Texans impending free-agent FS Tyrann Mathieu, Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent WR John Brown, Cincinnati Bengals impending free-agent LB Preston Brown, Arizona Cardinals impending free-agent LB Deone Bucannon, Carolina Panthers impending free-agent offensive tackle Daryl Williams and Miami Dolphins impending free-agent OT Ja'Wuan James are all names to keep an eye on for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jenna Laine. Free-agent PK Matt Bryant (Falcons) and free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Chiefs) have already been discussed as potential targets as well.

Ravens | John Brown may not return (Fri Feb 8, 05:22 PM) - Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent WR John Brown probably will not re-sign with the Ravens this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.

Our View: We think Brown ends up with the Buccaneers and his former coach with the Cardinals, Bruce Arians. His speed would be a great asset for that team and replace DeSean Jackson (the Bucs are expected to move on from him this offseason).
