Summary

Brown's 2017 in Arizona was a complete mess. He played in only 10 games and caught a scant 21 passes, failing to eclipse 300 yards. His signing of one-year, $5 million deal is a disappointment to him and also to Baltimore, given that the team had missed out on Donte Moncrief and Jarvis Landry before signing Brown. However, with his biggest asset being his vertical speed, Brown has a chance to make an impact as that strength aligns well with one of Flacco's only strengths - his deep ball accuracy. If he can stay healthy, a bounce-back year should be inevitable - especially given how poor his 2017 was. (August 4)

Ravens | Week 14 injury report for Baltimore (Fri Dec 7, 04:09 PM) - Baltimore Ravens S Tony Jefferson (ankle), OL Alex Lewis (shoulder), CB Jimmy Smith (not injury related) and LB Terrell Suggs (not injury related) did not practice Friday, Dec. 7. Jefferson is listed as doubtful for the Week 14 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, while Lewis is questionable. The others are off the report. CB Marlon Humphrey (groin) was a limited participant, while QB Joe Flacco (hip), OL James Hurst (back), LB Anthony Levine (ankle), CB Tavon Young (groin) and LB Tim Williams (ankle) practiced in full and are each listed as questionable. WR John Brown (not injury related), WR Michael Crabtree (not injury related), S Eric Weddle (not injury related) and OL Marshal Yanda (not injury related) practiced in full and are off the report.

Our View: Jefferson will be missed at the back end of the pass defense with the Chiefs up next. Tampa is on the schedule in Week 15 and the Chargers in Week 16, so the hope is that Jefferson can return soon to help slow down these strong passing attacks.
