Best Case
Anthony Wright is no bet to make the final 53-man roster. Under ideal circumstances, the 32-year old will outplay David Carr in training camp and retain his status as Eli Manning's backup. Under that scenario, he's one injury away from taking over a Super Bowl champion team with arguably the best collection of receivers the Giants have fielded in years.
Worst Case
Wright has to outplay David Carr in camp. Otherwise he'll be looking for work by the end of training camp. The Giants have two younger QBs - Jared Lorenzen and rookie Andre Woodson, which makes it nearly impossible to imagine both Wright and Carr can make the 53-man roster.
Outlook
Our money is on David Carr winning the backup job, which means Anthony Wright will be looking for work. But given his experience, he wouldn't be out of work for long and should latch on as a QB3 somewhere or, quite possibly, a QB2 for a QB-starved team.

2007 Game Summaries
Week 2 - Wright entered the game on the Giants' final series after Jared Lorenzen left the game. Wright was only able to complete one pass for 12 yards, but a pass that would have been a touchdown was knocked out of the hands of Anthony Mix before Mix could get his feet down in the end zone.
