2007 Game Summaries

Week 1 - Wilson was used primarily as a lead back and appeared to handle that job pretty well. He was a disappointment on his only touch however. He only caught one pass, which was immediately knocked out of his hands for which he was credited a fumble.

Week 2 - Wilson provided a good compliment to Gonzalez during the game. He did have one three yard reception called back due to a penalty.

Week 5 - Wilson made a nice catch on the first play of the game for 30 yards but was not a factor afterwards.

Week 7 - Wilson was in on a lot more plays than the statistics show. He is starting to show more ability as a lead blocker and his presence is helping Johnson and Huard.

Week 9 - Wilson only saw limited action as relief to Tony Gonzalez.

Week 10 - Wilson made a nice catch on one of the three balls thrown to him but then fumbled the ball. Fortunately for him and for the Chiefs, Eddie Kennison was coming back over to help out and recovered the fumble.

Week 11 - Wilson only saw limited action as Kansas City made the wide receivers the focus of the passing game.

Week 12 - Kris Wilson caught one pass for one yard and did not have much of a role in the game plan against the Raiders.

Week 14 - Wilson only caught one of the passes thrown his way and it was for negative yardage.

Week 15 - Kris Wilson looked better out there than he has for a while. He caught three of the four balls thrown his way, but where he looked best was on his one scoring play. With the Chiefs at the nine yard line, Croyle threw a short pass to Wilson. Wilson broke through two tacklers at the five and then carried a third one with him as he leapt over the goal line.

Week 16 - Kris Wilson was only targeted one time. He had no catches and no yards gained.

Week 17 - Wilson had a productive day catching three of his four targets for 30 yards.
