2007 Game Summaries
Week 2 - Wilson caught one pass for a 12 yard gain. He made another nice grab along the sideline, but Roethlisberger threw the ball a little too wide for Wilson to get his feet down in bounds.
Week 3 - Wilson was targeted once. Wilson, a high school quarterback, ran an end around and appeared to be looking to throw, but instead tucked the ball, reversed field and might have run for a long touchdown, if not for the open field tackle by Nate Clements.
Week 5 - Wilson got the ball -- and gained the confidence of his QB - more as the game went on. He was able to haul in four of five targets in the second half, all for decent yardage (16, 11, 18, 17).
Week 7 - Wilson had a nice second half catch for a clutch third down conversion.
Week 8 - Wilson failed to catch the only ball thrown his way.
Week 11 - In limited duty, Wilson caught one pass for nine yards.
Week 12 - Wilson caught all three passes thrown his way.
Week 13 - Wilson's first two receptions went for a total of 20 yards as he helped lead the Pittsburgh offense to their second touchdown. His only other catch in the game came in the third quarter and went for 14 yards. Wilson was the intended receiver on Ben Roethlisberger's second interception.
Week 14 - Wilson caught a screen pass on the sideline from QB Ben Roethlisberger and made a skilled dash down the sideline for eight yards, but otherwise was very quiet in the loss.
Week 15 - Wilson caught a 12 yard pass. Wilson, who was a high school quarterback took, a pitch on Pittsburgh's two point conversion attempt and fired a strike to an open Santonio Holmes in the back of the end zone to tie the game.
Week 17 - Wilson made a beautiful diving grab in the end zone to pull the Steelers within one touchdown late in the fourth quarter. He managed to catch the ball on both ends and keep it from bouncing off the ground as he landed in the end zone for the score.
Week 18 - Wilson caught the only ball thrown his way for a ten yard gain.
