Best Case
Ricky Williams stays healthy and motivated, displays some of his ability that made him an elite player a few seasons ago, and does a good job when given the opportunity. Williams could carry the ball 6-10 times per game, spelling Ronnie Brown this season and providing a lift to the offense. In this case he would have some marginal worth as a fantasy backup.
Worst Case
Williams' best days are proven to be behind him as he cannot stay healthy and doesn't run with the same power or conviction as he once did.
Outlook
It is unlikely that Williams will provide much fantasy production in 2008. His best days are definitely behind him and it isn't likely he can take the pounding of a 20+ carry per game pace anymore if something were to happen to Brown.
