Outlook
Richard Seymour is widely regarded as one of the best defensive linemen in the league when healthy, but his fantasy production has almost always been underwhelming. Despite being named to 5 Pro Bowls and 3 All Pro teams, Seymour has never finished with 40 or more solo tackles in a season and he's only reached 6 sacks once. He was outplayed by Ty Warren in 2006 and missed most of last season while recovering from a knee injury, but we expect him to rebound with a solid season this year. As long as he can play a full season, he should finish with 30+ solo tackles and 4 or more sacks, which would probably make him a quality backup in most leagues who could fill in during bye weeks or favorable matchups.
