2007 Game Summaries

Week 1 - Sapp ran from the fullback slot and was used in short yardage situations.

Week 2 - Sapp carried the ball two times for six yards, one that went for a four yard score. He did this from the fullback position, and did not line up as a tailback at all in this game. Sapp had a nice second effort on fourth and short to gain a first down. He received three targets in the passing game, catching two for 18 yards. He had one drop on a short dump off pass.

Week 3 - Sapp's contributions were minimal but he did have a nice run on his only carry.

Week 4 - Playing fullback this game, Cecil Sapp was primarily a blocker, although he did post one reception for ten yards, early in the third quarter.

Week 7 - Sapp's one touch was a good one, going for a one yard first half touchdown pass. He also had one rushing attempt

Week 8 - Sapp's only target of the game came in the third quarter.

Week 9 - Sapp caught one pass for a two yard gain. He dropped a pass as well.

Week 11 - Sapp caught both of his targets for minimal gains. He was primarily used as a blocking fullback.

Week 13 - Sapp had one rushing attempt for no gain. He caught all three of his targets, but gained only four yards.

Week 14 - Sapp saw action as a lead blocker for the most part. He was targeted once and carried the ball one time.
