Best Case
Rosario is currently buried behind Jeff King on the depth chart, but if something happens and the team needs to lean on Rosario, he could find himself in the starting lineup. He averaged 18.0 yards per catch last season, turning just 7 targets into six catches and 108 yards with two scores. He seems to have a good nose for the end zone. He is a quality backup to King who could step into the starting role if necessary.
Worst Case
Rosario could end up being used infrequently in the passing game as the Panthers are set with King at TE1 and they are transitioning back to a power-running attack. That's not a recipe for an outstanding season from the TE2 position on the depth chart.
Outlook
Rosario is a guy to keep on your radar in case the Panthers need him to step into the starting lineup. He's probably not worth a draft pick this season but could be a gem in free agency.
