2007 Game Summaries

Week 9 - Koren Robinson saw significant action in his first game back from a year long suspension. He was not targeted until late in the first half. Robinson appeared to have some rust as he missed two of the first three passes thrown to him, the first one resulting in an interception. He did display good concentration by catching two of Favre's notorious rifle passes in the fourth quarter.

Week 11 - Robinson was targeted twice but both passes were incomplete. Robinson added value on special teams. He had a long kickoff return to open the second half. Green Bay scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive that put them up by 25 points.

Week 12 - Robinson was the beneficiary of a stumble by DB Stanley Wilson, allowing a 43 yard bomb down the right sideline to Robinson. He seemingly could have scored at the end of the play, but instead slowed down at the end in order to fight off would-be tacklers. They managed to take him down at the two yard line, and Greg Jennings caught a touchdown on the very next play. Another curious play by Robinson occurred on his only other reception, this one late in the fourth quarter. With the Packers leading and trying to run down the clock, he caught a pass over the middle from Favre and quickly raced for the sideline. He got out of bounds before a defender could get to him, but it was odd that he'd be seeking to avoid contact and get out of bounds considering the team was trying to run clock. It didn't matter, because there was a penalty against the Packers that stopped the clock anyway, but it could have mattered. It's nothing earth shattering, but something that should be noted. Robinson obviously hasn't been known as the best decision maker in his life, and brain cramps on the field aren't going to help earn him more playing time. Robinson was the target of a fade pattern to the sideline of the end zone early in the fourth quarter, but he was just barely out of bounds on the play.

Week 13 - Robinson had one catch for seven yards in the first half. His second catch came on a quick out which he was able to take for nine yards.

Week 14 - Robinson tipped the first target his way up into the air and the pass and was intercepted by Stuart Schweigert. His only catch came near the start of the third quarter and went for a gain of 37 yards. In addition to his receiving duties, Robinson also averaged 15 yards on two kick off returns.

Week 15 - Robinson made receptions on both of his targets. In addition to his pass catching duties, he was impressive in the kicking game averaging 43 yards on three kickoff returns.

Week 17 - Robinson's first reception went for a gain of 21 yards on Green Bay's second series. Later on in that drive, he grabbed a five yard touchdown from Brett Favre on a slant pattern. The scoring catch was Robinson's first of the year. His final two catches came in the third quarter and went for a total of 21 yards. In addition to catching passes, Robinson also took an end around run for a gain of five yards.

Week 19 - Koren Robinson played occasionally as a fourth receiver, but did not earn any receiving targets. As usual he played on special teams as a kick returner, but the Seahawks shied away from kicking directly to him.

Week 20 - Koren Robinson caught four passes for 16 yards on five targets. Favre and the Packers made an effort to get the ball in Robinson's hands, as three of his catches were on wide receiver screens along the line of scrimmage. None of them went longer than a yard. Robinson was the target on Favre's first interception of the game. As usual Robinson was the primary kick returner.
