Outlook
Patrick Ramsey is one of the better backup QBs in the league. However, it is likely that he won't see the field for more than a few kneel-downs this year. Jay Cutler is entrenched as the team's starting QB and appears fairly durable (he played a full 16-game schedule last season). That said, it only takes one play for the backup to get on the field, and Ramsey leading the Broncos offense would be a nice fantasy option.

2007 Game Summaries
Week 9 - Ramsey replaced Cutler and threw his first passes of the season. With Denver trailing, Ramsey threw often. He was mostly ineffective as Denver was unable to score until late in the game. Ramsey's best passes were strong throws down the middle of the field. However, Ramsey was erratic; he threw one interception and had a number of passes that were off target. The interception resulted from an ill-fated screen attempt. Shaun Rogers picked the ball off and rumbled 62 yards for a touchdown. In his defense, Ramsey was victimized by six dropped passes.
Ramsey ran once to convert a four yard into a first down.
Week 10 - Ramsey saw very brief action replacing a limping Jay Cutler during the middle of one offensive series. Both his attempted passes were incomplete but his one rush attempt produced a first down.
