Best Case

The Broncos have publicly stated there would be an open competition for the starting job in Denver. Quinn will get his fair shot to prove himself after not taking a snap in the regular season last year. Quinn is a dark horse to win the starting job, but has starting experience from his days in Cleveland. If he was the Broncos starter he would be operating a run heavy system and thus wouldn't be a fantasy factor. We see Quinn as a QB3 if he were to win the starting job.

Worst Case

Brady Quinn is afraid to make a mistake. That's why when he's under center he rarely makes plays. He won't take chances and tries to play it too safe. This is why the last time he starter he tied with Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell for the league worst in yards per completion. Quinn is more than likely going to be holding a clipboard as a third-string guy. Even if the Broncos move Kyle Orton via trade we would expect them to grad someone like Jake Delhomme to be the primary backup behind Tim Tebow.

Outlook

Quinn was looking for a fresh start when he was traded to Denver. He's only received limited touches in the preseason and didn't look very good. It's looking more and more like he's going to go down as another first-round bust.
