Best Case
The Ohio native and last year's first-round pick is a fan favorite, but the only way he'll see extensive playing time this season is if Derek Anderson falters or is injured. If Quinn does take over at QB for the Browns, he'll command an offense with plenty of potent weapons at his disposal. Throwing to Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow can do wonders for a QB's stats, and Quinn has the intelligence and physical skills necessary to take advantage of whatever opportunities he gets. Quinn could quickly develop into a fantasy starter once he takes over the Browns' offense.
Worst Case
Derek Anderson is the Browns' starting QB heading into the season, and he'll remain the starter as long as he plays well. Quinn could therefore see no more action in 2008 than he did in 2007. Even if he does start one or more games, he'll be learning as he goes, and could suffer some early growing pains.
Outlook
If you draft Derek Anderson as your starting QB, you should consider buying an insurance policy in the form of Brady Quinn. The Browns' offense should put up a lot of points again in 2008, and drafting both Anderson and Quinn would lock up the Browns' starting QB for you. If another owner drafts Anderson, Quinn becomes the opposite of an insurance policy for you -- he is a high-risk player with decent upside, possibly worth a late-round pick if you're in the mood to gamble.

2007 Game Summaries
Week 17 - Quinn played one series for the Browns, going three for eight for 45 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. He would have had a touchdown pass had Kellen Winslow been able to hold onto an absolute bullet that Quinn threw over the center of the field. Overall, Quinn looked very good in his pass attempts, working through some progressions and hitting his receivers in stride.
