Best Case
The Chiefs wanted Samie Parker to be the WR of the future. Instead he went the way of Snoop Minnis, and Sylvester Morris. His play was a little better than those two guys, but now he looks to win a job in Denver. Parker's build is similar to that of Keary Colbert, but Parker is not expected to battle for the starting job like Colbert. Samie could make the final roster, but it won't be anything more than a WR4, unless the injury bug really bites the Broncos in August. Thus, Parker's stats won't exactly get him to Hawaii. That doesn't mean he won't be valuable for the team, it just means he will have little value fantasy wise. Parker's best case scenario is a few hundred yards receiving with a TD or 2.
Worst Case
Parker will have to battle to make the final cut in Denver. The Broncos have taken a "throw it against the wall and see what sticks" philosophy when it comes to their receivers not named Brandon (Marshall or Stokley). If Parker can be one of the WRs that "sticks" he could hardly see the playing field. In that scenario he may only have a handful of catches for the entire year.
Outlook
It's a long way 'til the end of August. Like most of the Broncos WR corps, training camp will tell the tale. Parker needs to catch everything, stay healthy, and show good route running ability in camp, just to make the final roster.

2007 Game Summaries
Week 1 - Parker showed glimpses of promise as he pulled in four of the seven passes thrown his way for 48 yards. He had some excellent catches where he demonstrated exceptional ball awareness.
Week 2 - Parker was the deep target in the Chiefs offense. He was targeted once in the end zone on a well thrown ball that was tipped and intercepted by the Bears defense.
Week 3 - Parker was the only wide receiver other than Bowe to make a reception. His lone reception was a short pass that Parker was able to make a move, and use his speed to turn it into a 22 yard gain. His only other target was a deep route Huard missed him on.
Week 5 - Parker was not involved in the game much, with two of his targets coming after Croyle entered the game. He did convert one of those targets into Kansas City's only touchdown.
Week 6 - Parker was the third option at wide out, catching one of the two balls thrown his way. The pass he dropped was due to a helmet to ball hit by the defender, and it was ruled incomplete.
Week 7 - Parker caught the only ball thrown in his direction and also was utilized on one run for positive yardage. He is not producing serviceable fantasy numbers, but he is a nice extra option for Kansas City.
Week 9 - Parker saw the most targets of any Chiefs wide out, but was only able to convert them into two receptions. But he did play an important role in two of the three touchdowns. On the first score he drew a pass interference penalty on a pass in the end zone that was caught out of bounds, giving the Chiefs first and goal on the one yard line. He also drew a pass interference penalty on the play immediately preceding the touchdown pass to Tony Gonzalez.
Week 10 - With an abundance of targets for Kansas City, Parker was a bit forgotten in the passing department, but he did catch the only ball thrown to him.
Week 11 - Parker was only targeted twice. His first target was when Croyle was off target in a throw into the end zone. He was unable to hold onto the other opportunity on a hard throw that hit him in the hands.
Week 12 - Parker caught the only pass thrown to him but there were just not enough passes for him to receive much attention.
Week 15 - Parker provided an outstanding effort for this contest. He caught all three passes thrown to him for 33 yards. On his touchdown catch, Croyle threw a short pass that Parker caught inside the ten yard line. Parker made a great move on the potential tackler leaving him clutching air and then ran in for the score.
Week 16 - Parker caught two passes for 56 yards. On the last play of the game, he also received a lateral from Kolby Smith that he carried or 21 yards while time was running out. On one of his cuts, he slipped and fell to the ground, ending the game as time ran out.
Week 17 - Parker saw only three balls come his way, bringing in two of them for 23 yards.
