Ravens | Ray Rice thinks both FBs could stay on roster (Sat May 11, 07:16 PM) - Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice said he believes FBs Vonta Leach and Kyle Juszczyk can be on the team at the same time because they play different styles. 'Me and [RB Bernard Pierce] are two different backs, him and Vonta are two different fullbacks,' Rice said. 'I'm sure if the cookie crumbles right, I'm sure we can make it work with everybody.' Our View: If both fullbacks stay on the roster then another running back may get bounced. Bernard Pierce is the primary backup behind Rice, but guys like Anthony Allen, Bobby Rainey, and Damien Berry could be on the roster bubble.link to story

2012 Game Summaries
Week 2 - Judging by how surprised the Eagles' defense was when Leach was given the football, the Ravens may be tempted to give him the ball again at the goal-line. Either way, don't expect him to do anything more than be a lead blocker this year. A superstar one of course. Leach did show good hands for his one reception in the flat for six yards.
Week 4 - Flacco’s hot receiver under duress, Leach caught a couple of bailout passes and finished runs.
Week 5 - Leach’s 18 yard reception was a short cross followed by him outrunning the linebacker for a first down. He dropped his only other target and picked up 4 yards on his only carry with the Ravens pinned back at their own 1.
Week 10 - Leach was involved in typical fullback fashion with a screen reception that was tackled immediately and a rushing attempt from the shadow of his own end zone.
Week 13 - Leach caught a wide open pass in the flat for a first down and seven yards. Another reception in the flat game at the beginning of the second quarter that went for five yards. Leach caught another wide open pass in the flat, before running upfield for a first down and a 12 yard gain. On a hard play action to one side, Leach caught a pass for twelve yards wide open in the flat on the other side of the field.
Week 14 - Baltimore’s punishing fullback caught two passes out of the backfield for eleven yards, and carried the ball twice for three yards. The Ravens leaned on Leach in short-yardage situations. He converted once – running a fullback dive for one yard on third-and-one – and missing the mark another time, getting two yards on a fullback dive on second-and-two. Leach figures to see a handful of touches each game as the Ravens’ schizophrenic use of Ray Rice continues unabated.
Week 18 - Leach got a rare carry against the Colts, this time at the goal line. He slammed it in for the first touchdown of the game, giving the Ravens the 10-3 lead in the second quarter.
Week 19 - In signature fullback fashion, Leach saw an inside dive play on the ground and a reception off a play-action fake against Denver
