The Dolphins let veteran fantasy star Yeremiah Bell leave a year ago and that created an opening which was well filled by Reshad Jones. The former 5th round pick quietly established himself as one of the core players on a defense and team in transition. Whereas Bell was known primarily for his tackling ability, Jones has a more well rounded game. In addition to posting several games with double digit solo tackles and raking among the best at his position, he also contributed 4 interceptions and a handful of big plays like forced fumbles and sacks. While it’s unlikely he’ll finish as a top-5 safety again, he belongs in a group of safeties maybe a tier or two below the league’s truly elite.
