Outlook
Avid Titans fans will tell you that in the last few seasons, the receiver that showed the most natural talent and ability on the field was Brandon Jones. The problem with Jones is that for having all the pieces necessary to be a very good receiver, he has yet to put them all together for more then a quarter or two at a time. Factor in the uncertainty of the Titan passing game and the competition for snaps among receivers, and Jones is likely too big of a gamble to roster this year except in the deepest leagues.

2007 Game Summaries
Week 1 - His only involvement in the first half was on a reverse run where he showed good burst and moves to gain 19 yards. As with the other Titan's receivers, he was asked to run shorter routes and block for the running backs.
Week 2 - Jones was targeted seven times by Vince Young. He ended up with five catches for 57 yards. On the last drive of the game for the Titans, Jones had the ball bounce of his fingers on a critical third down with time ticking away. The Titans ended up turning the ball over on downs and losing the game.
Week 3 - Jones scored the first TD of the game in the second quarter on a nice 35 yard catch and run. He led the Titans in receiving yards, but keep in mind that he was targeted only four times in this game. Given the Titans are a run-first team and that Young spreads the ball around, it's hard to see a ton of upside with Jones or any other Tennessee receiver.
Week 5 - Jones very nearly came down with a touchdown on a long pass that seemed certain to be intercepted, but had the ball roll off his hip as he tried to hold onto the ball.
Week 7 - Jones was out of this game because he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this week that will cause him to miss two to three weeks.
Week 9 - Brandon Jones was thrown to two times but both deep passes were incomplete. He did have an 18 yard run on an end around.
Week 10 - Jones was used mostly on short and intermediate routes across the middle and showed good route-running and hands as he caught all passes that were within his reach.
Week 11 - Jones dropped a deep pass early in the game that likely would have been a touchdown. He redeemed himself quickly, with a 21 yard touchdown catch on the Titans third offensive series. Young made a great throw that only Jones could have caught, and Jones turned and zipped past Dre Bly and into the end zone.
