2007 Game Summaries
Week 2 - Hicks did a nice job filling in for Gore with two catches and two runs for 31 yards total. He also gained 101 yards on five kickoff returns.
Week 3 - Hicks was targeted once unsuccessfully. He returned four kickoffs for a 21 yard average.
Week 5 - Hicks spelled Gore once in the running game, carrying it for one yard. Though he appears to be Gore's backup, he doesn't have a regular role in the offense.
Week 8 - Hicks played the role of change of pace back in the first half, but Michael Robinson saw more of the carries and QB looks in the second half.
Week 9 - Hicks split carries with Michael Robinson. Even though Robinson was the starter and got more carries, Hicks had a good game and scored the 49ers' only TD.
Week 10 - Hicks' only reception of the game came in the fourth quarter. He was able to average 25 yards on four kick off returns.
Week 12 - Hicks had two short runs in the 49ers scheme that featured Gore as its exclusive runner.
Week 13 - Maurice Hicks was used mostly on kickoffs. He had one carry for five yards and he caught one pass for seven yards. He also had a ten yard reception wiped out by a penalty.
Week 15 - Hicks only had two carries for three yards in the game, but he did add two catches for 17 yards.
