Best Case

Ben Hartsock started his career in Indianapolis, so he's seen the TE position at it's most productive. However, last season in Tennessee represents his high-water mark as a receiver thus far in his career. Hartsock will battle Martrez Milner for the top job in Mike Mularkey's offense during 2008. Hartsock's ceiling is probably around 400 yards receiving with a handful of TDs given the likelihood that Atlanta will be breaking in a rookie QB for a significant portion of the year.

Worst Case

Hartsock could lose the battle for TE to Milner and see very limited action during 2008. With a rookie QB likely to be under center for at least part of the year, it's hard to see TE2 in Atlanta producing much of anything in fantasy football terms.

Outlook

The jury is out on Hartsock, but his ceiling is quite low. He could be a decent backup TE on a fantasy squad if things break right for him, or he could be a complete waste of roster space on a fantasy squad.
