Best Case
As corners go Hall has proven to be a quality option for fantasy owners over the past three years. He's averaged a respectable 58 solo stops and has at least 4 picks in each of those seasons. With 5 picks and a career best 63 tackles in '07 he landed among the fantasy game's top 10 corners and that despite playing opposite very average talent in Atlanta. Lining up opposite Nnamdi Asomugha will be a big plus as both are excellent cover men. Opponents will have to pick their poison. The move to Oakland could very well serve to boost Hall's production even further.
Worst Case
Raiders corners have a history of low tackle production. In fact an Oakland corner has reached 50 solo stops just once in the past 5 seasons. That coming in '05. Another factor working against Hall is the Raiders pathetic run defense that finished 31st in the league last season. When teams got a lead they were able to run down the Raiders throat. If this situation is not remedied Hall may not have the big play opportunities.
Outlook
Chances are the Raiders will rebound defensively as a whole, forcing teams to throw more than they did a year ago and providing Hall with plenty of opportunity. He's a proven commodity who should fair well with the change of venue. Look for Hall to continue as a quality starter in corner required leagues. He might even be roster worthy in combined DB leagues though likely only as a backup.
