2007 Game Summaries

Week 4 - Fletcher got a few plays in at TE with Dallas Clark playing more plays split out with the injury to Marvin Harrison. Fletcher managed to put up 33 yards on his two receptions, both in the third quarter.

Week 5 - Fletcher served as the back-up tight end as Ben Utech sat out of the game. He caught both balls thrown his way.

Week 10 - Bryan Fletcher was inserted in the lineup for an injured Dallas Clark in two tight end formations and had a nice game catching eight passes for 55 yards on 12 targets. Nothing was deeper than five or ten yards down the field, but Fletcher showed a knack for working over the middle, accounting for five first downs himself. He was also the recipient of the Colts successful two point conversation in the fourth quarter. Generally he would not be much of a receiving threat, though with the numerous Colts weapons out for this game, he showed he could make the tough catch if called upon.

Week 12 - Fletcher was targeted on a deep mass in the middle of the field, but could not haul in the catch.

Week 15 - Fletcher stepped in when Utecht was injured but had a limited role in the offense.

Week 16 - Fletcher didn't make very many plays downfield, but he was very effective in picking up short gains in the flat and over the middle to help keep the chains moving. If Tony Dungy follows through with his plan of resting most of his starters next week, Fletcher could see a lot more work than usual.

Week 17 - Fletcher saw limited action as he was regulated to a blocking role when the starters left the game in the second quarter. All of his targets came with the starters playing.
