Outlook
Ray Edwards enters his third year in the NFL with a firm hold on a starting DE spot opposite Jared Allen. Edwards only played 12 games in 2007, and finished the year with 26 solo tackles and 3.5 sacks. The Vikings have one of the best defensive lines in the league and with Allen on the other side of the line, Edwards should have plenty of pass rushing opportunities. If Edwards can continue to improve and takes advantage of his chances, he has a chance to be a solid DL3 this year.
