Dawkins is getting up there in age, but the Eagles have made a number of significant improvements on the defensive side of the ball. The addition of CB Asante Samuel compliments CB Sheldon Brown -- and for now at least CB Lito Sheppard is arguably the best third cornerback in the league. The strength at secondary coverage allows a hard hitter like Dawkins to patrol the middle and come up into the box to make bigger defensive stops and be the playmaker that he is capable of in DC Jim Johnson's aggressive scheme. Look for Dawkins to give everything he has in what could be his final year in Philadelphia in an effort to win it all.
